LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- A registered sex offender in southern Indiana has been arrested after police said he molested his girlfriend's daughter, who prosecutors said was about 12 years old at the time, although the girlfriend said it never happened.
Justin Pound, 23, entered a plea of not guilty during his initial appearance in a Clark County courtroom on Thursday. It's the second time Pound has been accused of engaging in an inappropriate sexual act with a minor.
"It's pretty heartbreaking. I'm certain, for this mom, that this person that she gave a second chance to and she put her faith and love and trust into broke that trust with her daughter," said Brittany Blau, Clark County deputy prosecutor.
According to a probable cause affidavit, the victim told police Pound had "touched her in a manner that made her feel uncomfortable multiple times."
She told police it would happen in his car. According to the affidavit, "he would ... rub around her groin area. She attempted to push his hand away; however, he would ... not stop."
According to the affidavit, "Pound confessed to rubbing her leg up to and including her groin area ... approximately (5) times throughout the course of the year."
"He basically said, 'Well, it wasn't as bad as she said, but yeah, I probably kind of touched her in a sexual manner,'" Blau said.
Pound is registered as a sex offender in Jeffersonville. He was convicted of sexual misconduct with a minor in Washington County, Ind., in 2008.
A neighbor said he knew of Pound's past, but said the 23-year-old is quiet and keeps to himself.

This RSO thing has been a joke all along. It prevents nothing bad from happening and it ropes in all sorts of innocent people, often those involved in a divorce where false accusations are made and the accused is unable to clear his name.
Tennessee DA’s have allowed sexual offenders accused of raping children as young as 9 to plea down to statutory rape.
Wow, go figure. Mom allows boyfriend who is a convicted sex-offender(against a minor), live-in access to her twelve year-old daughter. Twelve-year old daughter is molested by boyfriend. The prosecutor is oddly sympathetic toward the mother, who should be prosecuted herself for acting as a procuror for her boyfriend. She knew this stuff was going on and allowed it to happen.

Mommy may have a high IQ (though I wouldn’t bet on it).
The problem is not that Mom is stupid, it is that her relationship with the boyfriend is more important to her than protecting her daughter.
My daughters are both grown now, and nothing like this ever came up, but I know that if anybody had ever even intimated he was a threat to them, my wife would have had to be restrained from breaking him into itty-bitty pieces. I would be glad to stand by and stomp on any of the pieces that were still moving.
the mother of his victim I would assume is somewhat in the age group of her boyfriend ....SO HOW YOUNG WAS SHE WHEN SHE HAD GAVE BIRTH TO HER DTR?.14?...15?...16?...17?????
can anybody see the destruction our culture has undergone?...sexual activity at early ages and the resultant rise in early pregnancies that many times leads to crappy lives for the children....

And they claim that men are the ones that think with their sex organs - far too many women (battered/abused/have kids abused) seem to do the exact same thing only with more tragic results.
