Nah. I think its more likely a great dane.
What this line, repeated over and over, means is they don't want to trigger the environmental and political consequences of admitting that that area is in fact their habitat. Don't want to close down the EPA headquarters over an endangered species, do we? We see it all the time in stories along the east coast that environmental laws are made for western states, not to inconvenience the eastern population centers.
This isn't a giraffe, it is a native species that is increasing in population throughout the 20th century, with an instinct to spread out and take back the continent which used to be their habitat.
GO CAT, GO!
Some call it a mountain lion. Some call it term limits.
There is photographic evidence of three cougars which showed up one morning in someone’s yard in the northeastern part of WV. They hung around like they were at home.
Somebody tell that Cougar Democrats taste like chicken. LOL!
Thanks Cailleach.
I’m just hoping that they aren’t big on swimming across rivers... Or walking down I 95. The wolves and coyotes don’t bother me...but giant kitties scare me.
Oh my goodness. It’s adorable! I hope the big kitty doesn’t nom on him.
