Tim Tebow was Tebowed in one of the more memorable moments in taunting history.
In a act that surely will be talked about across the country for a while, Detroits Stephen Tulloch sacked Tim Tebow and then got down on one knee in front of the Denver quarterback.

Ignore all the haters. You’re spot on on.
Tebow uses his “faith” as a method to garner support and more advertising revenue. Anyone who does not see that is blind.

Agree. Saw him play in college and the guy has an amazing will to win.
Wish the NFL had more guys like him. Lot of sports teams are losing money.
And that’s with them being subsidized by the cities where they play.
The NFL is all about marketing and Tebow is the prime example of a high draft choice who was picked due do his marketability and not his skill set.
However, now that he is in the NFL, he has to roll with the punches and get hit hard and taunted just like anyone else.
And I will give him props for taking the licking and taunting he took today in stride and not being a cry baby about it.
Interestingly, there are people on this thread who unlike Tebow are cry babies when it comes to Timmy Timmy being Taunted and Tackled.
Tebow was wrong in renaming it after himself.
I saw him crying after two defeats at Florida.
God bless you Tebow, I know you live by those words, and you are indeed blessed!
I don’t much think God takes sides in football games.
Any parent who loves their child, will defend that child when he/she is wronged unjustly.
Tebow is God's child.
The mocking was against God, ultimately.....Tebow happened to be the nearest representative.
I suspect Tulloch was following his father's bidding.
Woe be to the man who goeth 18 for 39 with one pick, and who leadeth his team to a 45 to 10 whupping.
If we proceed on the belief that we are all God's children then wouldn't any mocking against any player be mocking against God? Or is Tebow special?
Jesus lectured folks about public displays of the trappings of faith - so again, I am not sure the pubic display or the mockery rank much. It’s just football played on the Sabbath.
"Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall." - Proverbs 16:18
A 45-10 licking is quite a fall.
Those who reject God ...revile God...mock God....are not in the same relationship.
Choose ye this day who ye will serve.....
..as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord
So then the opinion of a proven professional like John Lynch, as the games commentator, as to Denver’s problems have far more to do with the team, players and coaching, than any one player means absolutely nothing to you, right?
The thread is about mocking his faith, not his personal performance, that was ironically affected by the other 10 players in the huddle.
The way Tebow is reviled for his faith drives me insane. Imagine how someone imitating bowing to Mecca would be tolerated ??? the stadium would spontaneously combust if that happened.
Can we mock the Broncos at least? Or are they special in God's eyes, too?
“Are you of the belief that Tim Tebow is the only player in the NFL that should be permitted to get on one knee and pray after making a good play?”
Give it a rest.
i am hockey fan, and there is a minor league player, drafted but still playing at UND, also known to be an outspoken Christian, named Rocco Grimaldi, who has in a more minor way, been similarly targeted. I was outraged to see a hockey blogger go after Grimaldi for his faith on Twitter. Grimaldi is an 18 yo kid, the hockey blogger is a dad of a teenaged son himself. It just boggles my mind that this is considered acceptable, but ONLY with respect to Christians. Any other faith and it would cause a major furor.
