SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Talk about a caffeine kick.

A morning trip to get a cup of coffee turned into more than several customers bargained for at a Sacramento-area Starbucks when an angry panhandler ransacked the store, according to police.

The bizarre incident began at the Starbucks at West El Camino and Truxel after a man began asking customers for money. When he failed to get any donations, witnesses said he grew very agitated and started screaming at people.

Officials said he also allegedly shattered a glass counter that separates the customers from the baristas, and threw coffee and other items all over the cafe.

His lawyer will claim OWS (Occupy Westelcamino Starbucks) status and he will be released as a legitimate protester.

I almost think the guy had some justification. (ALMOET) No sympathy here for Starbucks. It’s nothing more than a very, very well marketed RIP OFF.

A guy goes berzerk for a Starbucks??? It’s not even real coffee-more like rabbit pee.
What would this guy do for REAL, chicory coffee? The kinda stuff that eats your spoon!

Go to Costco. Buy a nice expresso pot or good French press, a coffee grinder and a 3 pound bag of their BEST GRADE (nothing less) French Roast beans. Keep the coffee in the freezer. That’ll do it!

I have no sympathy for Starbucks, although I can't condone destruction of property. But woe betide some a$$h*le who gets between me and my first cup of coffee in the morning.

Thanks, but I’ll take my coffee French Roast and chicory in a french drip pot. Strong, hot, dark and sweet.I buy either French Market ,CDM or Community. If you can see through it, it’s not coffee-and nothing goes in it except cream and sugar.

Anyone going nuts for Starbucks is just funny, IMO.
