I wondered if I was the only one who noticed. The podcasts really highlight the problem(s) since all the content is laid end-to-end.

Why?

Because listening to someone selling tea is not engaging radio. He's got enough obscene profit breaks as it is. I tune in to radio to be entertained, not to listen to sales pitches for tea. I make my own tea. It's not that tough to do.

A 24 Hour On Line directory for all conservative talkers can be found at Radio Time. I have a 'pre set' page and can find alternate time replays for things I missed live, or want to hear again.

I am particularly drawn to Jerry Doyle.

Lord deliver us from a wealthy housewife who wants to launch a vanity project. Mail order tea sounds as unwieldy as streaming video over a dial-up link.

I can make my own mayo as well, tastes just like Hellmann’s. I prefer to buy it instead of making it.

I tune in to radio to get informed. If you want to be entertained, find another avenue.

Rush, other than being informative, also has a great sense of humor, sometimes to subtle for those who have none.

Michael Berry is great, we almost never miss his show.

I don’t think Shirley Q. Liquor is original to his show. You can see/hear a lot of her (his, really) monologues on Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=shirley+q+liquor&aq=5&oq=shirley+

Maybe Rush's wife can start a mayo business.

No thanks. Plenty of entertaining radio. I don't tune in to be informed. There is nothing on the political talk shows that I don't already know.

Rush, other than being informative, also has a great sense of humor, sometimes to subtle for those who have none.

That's true. He can be very funny. He just isn't funny as often as he used to be, or else maybe after 20 years I've heard all his gags before.

Yup. Rush’s performance always goes downhill while he’s married. Less show prep? Who knows.

I'm surprised Hannity is at 6th

Politically I agree with most of what Hannity says.. but I cannot stand listening to him for more than a few minutes.

Except John Bachelor. THAT show is informative. But I don’t consider that a political show.

He is just boring lately. After reading RCP, FR, and Drudge at 8:00 am, its like i already know 99\0% of what he is going to discuss,m and then the extra 10% is annoying bs.

And nothing remotely gets me more irrated than when he starts trashing young people. I simply turn the station off and put on music.

He show sucks lately.

Savage is probably the most educated and knowledgeable....he got the phd before the liberal left got complete control over education, although he experienced some indoctrination, but was able to recover completely.

His life experiences have given him more common sense than Rush Limbaugh—and I’m not taking anything away from Rush’s wit and intellect—it just is even greater in Savage, which is apparent if you ever spend time listening to them both, which I have.

HIs gruff, old fashioned maleness is awesome and refreshing in today’s sick metrosexual atmosphere where all natural emotions are totally submerged into a twisted, sick, fake non-humaness which derides and ridicules male behavior. It especially derides outrage, even when it is totally justified. Savage believes that it is EVIL to allow evil to go unchallenged and he is unafraid of attacking ALL evil. Rush avoids attacking those who would try to destroy him (homosexuals). Michael NEVER avoids evil....where ever its ugly head emerges. He understands Natural Law Theory and the philosophy of the USA and sticks to it!

The left has been trying harder to destroy him than even Rush—and that explains everything. The left can NEVER allow Truth to stand because it makes sense—even to some useful idiots (like I was). That is Savage’s strength-—he is so logical and sensical (and entertaining), you end up agreeing with him.

Yes, I know....it is my ode to Savage.......but, he led me to knowledge and wisdom so I am forever grateful. Rush bored me when I was younger and I still hate golf. Savage caught my attention with his style and knowledge and common sense.

Because listening to someone selling tea is not engaging radio.

Similar to those talk show hosts who hawk their latest books on their programs.

Batchelor is my favorite show by a mile. The foreign police stuff alone is better than anywhere else.

Rush/Levin/Hannity are so boring lately its not funny.

Wow, Hannity and Levin are way down while Savage is now #2.

Seems like a big change up.

"Maybe Rush's wife can start a mayo business."

No need to. Hellmann's have the market.

Back to Rush's iced tea. The first time I had it brought back a memory long lost. My bff's mother used to make sun brewed iced tea. I remember the glass pitcher, sitting on the table in the backyard. It had little yellow suns circling the pitcher.

The first time I tried his iced tea, that memory came crashing down on me. It was my favorite as a youngster. Her mom ALWAYS had food in the house as well, so you know that's where we'd all wind up for lunchtime!

I don't have many fond memories of my childhood, but that was one of them.
