This is America! Celebrities are important people with important work to do! She probably has a casting call for a movie coming soon.. there’ll be script readings, negotiations, etc. Lindsay can’t be bothered with such trivial matters as serving a jail sentence for a criminal offense.

I have a friend who received a similar sentence for DWI in college. He was allowed to serve on weekends due to the fact that he was a full time student.

On Friday he would report to the county jail with a stack of textbooks.
Might as well get some studying done if locked up.

The deputy would come into the room and announce that they had X number of bunks and would select who would serve.

They never selected my buddy with his pile of textbooks. For some reason they would always select some thugs to get off the street.
He still got credit for serving by showing up for jail.

They don’t have room in the jail for such people when there’s little room
for real thugs and criminals.

You must understand that mere judges can't be allowed to interfere with what is known around L.A. as "the local industry." Regular citizens get used to traffic jams, "no parking" areas in essential locations and many other abuses as elected officials bend over backwards cater to film crews and "stars." It's just a cynical game.
