ORLANDO, Fla. -
Nationally sold baby dolls are causing a controversy because some say the toys utter a bad word.
The "You & Me Interactive Triplets," which are being sold at Toys R Us stores in Orlando, are causing the uproar because one of the dolls can be heard saying what appears to be the phrase, "Hey, crazy b****."
"Oh, absolutely. She's calling them a crazy b****," Kathy Wetter said.
The dolls are recommended for children ages 2 and older, and there is no warning of explicit language on the packaging.
Toys R Us said it has received a number of complaints about the doll but added that the doll is just making baby talk.
A mother told Local 6 News that she's worried her son might say the bad word.
"I don't want him repeating what's on there," she said.
Toys R Us said it has no plans to take the doll off its shelves, but told Local 6 News that it would allow customers to return the toy with a reciept, if they find it offensive.

I am sure something is lost in the translation considering it’s all made in china.
The Current FReepathon Pays For The Current Quarters Expenses?
Until I hear it for myself, I'll take this with a grain of salt.
“I am sure something is lost in the translation considering its all made in china.”
I will buy that answer. The chinese really need someone in quality control for this to happen.
I’m pretty sure the doll is talking to that last woman in the video.
Or for this NOT to happen I should say.
"I don't want him repeating what's on there"
And take a look at the lady in the video @ 1:10
"I think that they should be burned and I'd like to know who the company is because I'd like to write them a letter"
The v-tech I can kind of understand because you have to know the buttons to push and the rate to push them to get this to happen.
The doll is inexcusable.
“The v-tech I can kind of understand because you have to know the buttons to push and the rate to push them to get this to happen.”
So you are saying this was done on purpose? I have no knowledge of the technology to make these things talk. I just have to take your word for it.
“Parents: Cursing baby doll should not be sold (FReeper Parental Warning)”
How about those parents choose not to BUY IT? Novel thought, liberty.
Call the "Ghost Adventures" crew! They'll analyze the audio with the accuracy of their EVP interpretations! You hear a bunch of garbled static coming from the recorder, but what does the GA crew hear?
If even one person falls for the crap on those shows, I weep for the future of this country.
No doubt about that. Sheesh.
I just listened to the audio, it was played three times in that videoclip. I didn't pick up the word "crazy" at all. The second word - IF it was a word at all, other than gibberish - definitely began with the sound of "b," but to my ears it's unclear whether the remainder of the sound is meant to be the word "b****."
Ear of the beholder on this one.
Subversive diversity dolls in disguise?
"I don't want him repeating what's on there," she said.
Good job Mom. Tell the world your son plays with dolls.
I wonder if her son has gotten to the point when he can repeat his Mom's favorite swear word?
15 years ago they had cursing telletubbies. The little red one said ‘faggot faggot bite my butt’.
True, but if it's not "Hey, Crazy Bitch!" - then what IS that baby supposed to be saying? Alternatives?
