The hospital refused to say why the star was moved but it is believed it was decided that the singer's condition was so acute that it would be better if he was moved to the AKH - the biggest in Europe and where many of the continent's top medical experts are based because of the advanced facilities it offers for research as well as treatment.
The hospital has two skyscrapers, identified for navigating around the huge complex as the red tower and the green tower. He is currently in intensive care on the 13th floor of the red tower as a result of heart problems believed to be caused by the shortage of oxygen caused by his pneumonia.
On Thursday afternoon he was fitted into a special full-body bed designed to keep all the pressure off his lungs and to help them to function - so far without any sign of improvement.

Somehow I don’t get the feeling that you would have alot of sympathy for a non-smoker who died from it...

You need to read about Lot and his wife in the Bible.
This is sad, to lose such a talented artist. He certainly is gay, but whats really bad, was his advocacy, of sorts, of dangerous, indiscreet, random, casual sex. “F*ck you man, you don’t know my culture”... or something like that, he said when he was arrested. A real shame in some way, his choices in life may lead to his premature passing.
How true.
It is too bad that our public schools and most of the rest of our society today laugh at that as something ignorant and backwards.
I’ve heard that Rock Hudson had a death bed conversion to Christ. Hopefully, the same thing will happen for Mr. Michael.

Sounds like Mr. Gunn must’ve acquired something that used to be known as common sense. Nowadays, it’s called “hate speech.”

He died of bronchopneumonia brought on by AIDS on 24 November 1991, only one day after publicly acknowledging he had the disease.
“Mother I just killed a man” Freddi Mercury from Night at the Opera. Mercury was a most incredible talent. However, aids is nothing special just as alcoholism is nothing special. Aids should be treated as any other disease of lifestyle choices be it alcohol, drugs, dangerous avocation or vocation.
Those with the disease should not be given special privileges nor discriminated against. Those that have it by a choice of life style should not be pitied nor glorified. Aids is just another virus (albeit a most efficient and insidious virus) that can and will kill us.

My mother was a heavy smoker, so no surprise when she succumbed to lung cancer on Christnas Day, 1992. She tried desperately to quit, but to no avail. As far as non-smokers, I believe Dana Reeve, the widow of Christopher Reeve, aka Superman, died of lung cancer and had never smoked. But she was a lounge singer who was surrounded by smokers, so maybe that’s how she got the disease.
We knew a woman who died from lung cancer. She never smoked a cigarette in her life and wasn’t around second hand smoke. Her oncologist told her quite simply if you have a body part... that part can get cancer.
So very sad.
