That picture and the football scenes were shot at Loyola High School in Los Angeles. In 1951 or 1952 “Trouble Along the Way” starring John Wayne as a football coach was filmed on the same field.

Purchased the DVD of Knute Rockne from Amazon a few years back. The DVD was corrupted right after the opening credits ran. Sent it back and got a replacement DVD. Exact same problem. Sent it back and got a refund. Amazon was very good and prompt about everything.

NEWS FLASH! NEWS FLASH! NEWS FLASH!
Your posting states that the flick will air on Saturday, December 3 at 8:00 P.M.
Maybe where YOU live, but here in Pennsyltucky it is on the XFINITY listing for 8:00 P.M. FRIDAY evening; TONIGHT.
I appreciate the heads-up, but the incorrect data is troubling. If I had merely planned to VIEW it at the time you specified, I would have missed it. Thank God I programmed my DVR to record it, and in the process discovered that IT IS NOT scheduled for Saturday evening. It is scheduled for 8:00 P.M. EST THIS EVENING!
We’ll let you slide this time; but if it happens again, heads will roll!

After scrolling down the list of replies, I see that others found the erroneous data, too. So now I feel like Rosanna Rosannadanna. Except, I’m not going to say what SHE always said: “NEVER MIND!” I’m going to say, “Shape the #@%! up!
