I think he just carries a lot of regret that in many ways we knew his dad better than he ever did. And he’s learning to carry the legacy forward. Not an easy thing.
Do you know if Alphas is coming back, or was that one dropped?
IIRC, Alphas does get a 2nd season. I am not sure when it will start, however. Probably later in 2012.

Seriously liking the Prophets of science fiction, I think Rodedeenberrys kid found a way to make a buck off of his dads work and name.
