You all have to do this (Fundraising spam for Obama, un-capitalized title)

Friend --

You may know me as the tall guy who followed Barack everywhere he went.

As the President's body man for the last four years, it's been my privilege to help him with whatever he needs: making sure he's on time, finding some food when we're on the road, or playing a quick game of basketball (he won, mostly).

Of course, this also means I've also eaten many, many meals with him.

So first of all, I just want to say thanks for supporting the Obamas and being part of this campaign. It means a lot, not only to the President, but to all of us who've worked by his side.

Two: I kind of love this "Dinner with Barack and Michelle" contest. You all have to do this.

Get on that here.

You should know this practically never happens.

While Barack wants to do these dinners throughout his campaign, I know that dinner with Barack and Michelle is something that usually only happens with the girls, and no one else.

The fact that this dinner is with the two of them should tell you how much it matters to them to know that you have their backs out there.

I wouldn't let this one get away.

Donate $3 or whatever you can today to automatically be entered to win a spot at dinner for you and a guest:

https://donate.barackobama.com/Barack-and-Michelle

Thanks,

Reggie

I've been getting these spam e-mails, asking me to buy a $3 raffle ticket for a while now (I signed up to get the e-mails, out of curiousity).

This latest one is from the self-described 'body man'. My favorite part is where he says Obama usually won at basketball...because 50 year old men usually beat 30 year old former Duke players...sort of like Kim Jung Il's perfect bowling game, or 38 under par golf outing.

Next up on Kim Jong Il looking at things: Obama looking at things.

Oh, yeah, that’s what I’ve always dreamed of doing, sitting there at dinner, listening to “Barack” the Great pontificate ad nauseum, while Moochelle fills her pie hole. I’d rather have every one of my bones broken, then the pieces ripped from my body with no anesthetic, than to ever endure such agony.

Dear Reggie; did you hit your head on the basket and lose your mind? Just because you were a post player doesn’t mean you have to be as dumb as a post.

Making sure he is on time? Are you serious? OBOZO not only has a clear calendar everyday, but when something is scheduled, he is NEVER on time.

What a joke!

Ughhh! Just the thought of having to try and eat while staring at those two makes me sick. If I want to thow away $3 and be sick I will buy a couple of dollar gas station hot-dogs and a lotto ticket! (And I would still feel better about myself afterwards)

OBOZO not only has a clear calendar

....and if he doesn't, he merely needs to state "clear my calendar" and that's that.

I suppose that sycophants always need someone to fawn over.

Jung Il's perfect bowling game

yes, our 'Dear Leaders' have a lot in common, except that Jung Il never produced feces and Obama has been s**tting all over America for some time now

$3 - what a joke next to the tens of millions he will get - AGAIN - illegally from foreign sources, which will never, ever be revealed, nor even investigated.

“$3 - what a joke”

It started out at $5, last summer :).

I don’t think these raffles are as much about money, as they are about adding to the tally of individual donors. His massive billion dollar war-chest won’t look like it suspiciously came from a handful of donors, far exceeding the contribution limit, if he can boast several million donors.

I also suspect the $3 donation will get you put on a higher level list...to get cold called to contribute to congressional races, etc. In 2008, some democrats were upset that Obama was keeping DNC contributions, and lot letting them be dispersed to congressional candidates. I think he will try to appease them this year, by providing mailing lists of people who are known to crack their wallets open for the cause.
