I’d love to see their net worth BEFORE congress as compared to now. I bet every one of them skyrocketed. After all, the base of congress is CON!

Obama wants to soak the rich so here is the place to start. We should have a tax 10 times what normal people pay just for our leaders.

While Feinstein was on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, her husband made tens of millions of dollars from investments in China. And the poor masses in CA and the Berkeley crowd vote for her in droves.

We absolutely must mandate term limits folks !!

Two terms in house or senate and you are done, either run for president or go home. No grandfathered crap either. If you've had two or more terms at the time the amendment goes thru you are gone for good. We probably need term limits for the Supreme court also.

(And if anyone here really believes that John Conyers could only put his hand on 120 Grand next week, please get in touch with me. I have a bridge for sale.)

Wealth vs. Income.

Some people with high taxable incomes are very wealthy. Many people with great wealth have little taxable income. The former group creates jobs. The latter hates competition from upstarts and those below their social station.

The shallowness of the average voter is disturbing. They're voting for a caricature. It's not what she does, it's what she says and what she pretends to be.

Anyone who has seen the 'man on the street' interviews knows it. Almost none of them recognize a picture of Pelosi, or even Biden, but they all know who Snooki is.

Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) was the richest member of Congress in 2010, with an average net worth of $448,125,017. Issa co-founded Directed Electronics, the country's largest manufacturer of vehicle anti-theft devices.

The pubbies have quite a few members in the top 25 with the number 1 occupied by someone I was quite surprised to see there.

Alcee Hastings is worth $-$4,732,002???

A lot of these folks, I’d imagine they own a failed business, but Alcee never owned a business.

Did he rack up nearly 5 million dollars in legal fees?

This is the class that should be taxed at 99%, to listen to theDemocrat/Socialist Occupy crowd. Pelosi pronounced them patriots, before the deaths and drugs occurred in their tent cities. What an outstanding hypocrite she is.

This is where reform needs to start if Washington is to be cleaned up and given back to the people. No insider trading and abolish any monies or gifts from lobbyists including paid ‘speaking’ engagements. Read Abramoffs book on lobbying and Schwietzer’s book, ‘Throw them all out’ on insider trading and crony capitalism. If every American read these two books they would throw them all out.
