Hold me like that and I’ll be docile too.

Dang, that’s a good sized cat. I bet that horse behind her is thinking “hope it doesn’t get hungry.”

The title of the article is misleading. An African Wildcat (Felis silvestris lybica) is not the same as a Serval (Leptailurus serval or Caracal serval).

All domesticated cats are descended from the African wildcat, which has a body length up to about 30 inches, and weighs in at about 14 lbs. The Serval has a body length of about 36 inches and males weigh up to 40 lbs.

The former looks much like a regular sandy brown to yellow-grey housecat, the Serval is sometimes mistaken for a young Cheetah.

I have a cat (Bob) who is a pixie bob. He has spots like this guy and he’s big but not tall weighing about 18 pounds. He was born with a tail but all his siblings were bob cats so his breeder bobbed him too (grrrrr) so he is not the most coordinated cat and since I’m sure that some of his brain was bobbed too - he’s not the smartest cat I’ve ever owned. He’s pretty much a one person cat (me) and down right hostile towards my granddaughter who has been known to tease him. He is totally bonded to the house and yard and so we let him go out during the day. He’s always back by dark and sleeps happily in the garage where he has his own little cat house. He is no more a threat to the birds than I am, in fact, he’s sort of a afraid of them and doesn’t climb or jump.

I hate cats.

I own two...actually...I exist at their pleasure.

I am a big male guard dog type.

But I do like robust male kitties..indoor-outdoor types...I have land...they love to kill crap.

And bring it home for me to applaud.

as much as I hate cats, they sleep on our bed

the dogs who could actually defend us and save our lives do not

cats have gotten in my head...they are controlling me with their stare

am I the only one?
