In Iowa, according to Rasmussen, just 51 percent of Paul supporters consider themselves Republicans. In New Hampshire, the number is 56 percent, according to Andrew Smith, head of the University of New Hampshire poll.

The same New Hampshire survey found that 87 percent of the people who support Romney consider themselves Republicans. For Newt Gingrich, it's 85 percent.

So who is supporting Paul? In New Hampshire, Paul is the choice of just 13 percent of Republicans, according to the new poll, while he is the favorite of ... 26 percent of Democrats who intend to vote in the primary.

Who cares what Paul did with his brown shirts. He failed miserably here in IA and looks like a total loser. What a dope.

80% of Iowa supports someone other than Paul, yet his supporters declare victory?

Half of the 20% supporting him in this “Republican caucus”, don’t even self-identify as “Republican”.

can you say “cult”?

As with most straw polls and online polls with Paul votes, any future primary results for that crackpot need to be simply ignored and thrown out as insignificant. It is simply a stink vote meant to screw up the serious RINO vs conservative GOP fight in the GOP. The Democrats are using the Paul cult kooks as useful idiots.

They did little damage. We did it in 2008 (Newt established Operation Chaos) so why shouldn’t they this year. Paul will have one more decent state and then he will be done. I am thrilled with the results this year. Santorum is our next President of the United States. I am not worried about Romney because Newt and Mitt are going to take each other out. That should be fun to watch.

Ughh! What happend to the Conservatives and Tea Partiers? The Democrats have 2/3 of the Top Iowa finishers that would harm the GOP and hand the election to Obama. Romney will cause alot of Republicans to stay home as will Ron Paul...... Have to count NH out so I hope SC gets it RIGHT!
