A Ridgefield High School graduate and UConn sophomore, with the help of a friend’s music-loving dog, has gone “viral” on YouTube.
Musician and former RHS running back Drew Arcoleo, who is featured in most of his YouTube videos playing guitar and singing, is off-camera for the video that has appeared on Good Morning America, NBC Nightly News, several local news channels and has garnered more than 4 million views since it was posted Christmas Eve.
“It’s pretty crazy stuff,” he said Thursday morning after watching his video on The Today Show.
The star of the “Golden Loves Guitar !!” is a golden retriever named Bailey who smiles, head bobbing to the music, while Mr. Arcoleo strums his guitar. When the music stops, so does Bailey.
