It’s my understanding that if the snake from the time it hatched gets fed in a certain way, it will be fine with it, until it gets fed with something live, to which it will then demand live bait.

So, the smaller snake can still feed on the homeless, as long as you fed the snake homeless people parts, from the time they hatched.
