we could come up with brilliant candidates like we did with judge Bork...after watching this fiasco called a primary season, I can well understand why qualified people shun the whole process. The foul actions by the media and the leftists is almost overshadowed by attacks from our own side. Instead of pointing out that candidate "a" would make an O.K. president but that I, Candidate "b" would be so much better, we try to destroy the notion that candidate would even be an improvement over Obama. I Believe that it was Kennedy who ran on the concept that Republicans were OK and honest and all that, but that he, Kennedy would make a better president.We have back-biting, outright lying, mis-representation, inuendo, insults....and that's our own side...pathetic

I agree with you - on Mitt and Newt - just saying you missed a lot of the show today or were so angry (nothing wrong with that) that you misinterpreted part of it.
There were some good Newt segments today. There was a great segment on how Newt said that repealing mark to market accounting of Sarbanes Oxley would have been far preferable to TARP. Rush made a big deal of that and that does show an incredible understanding of the situation on that issue.
To paraphrase a famous historical figure in a well known play: “Oh, who will deliver us from this troublesome former Governor.”

Rush today compared Newt to Elizabeth Warren. Newt may have his challeges appealing to the financial groups supporting Mittens, but he is the one that can absolutely beat Obama.
Romney has been the choice of BOTH the Democrats and the GOP and he is going to win the nomination. This is no secret. We are having YET ANOTHER STINKING RINO shoved down our throats. This was foregone long ago.
If you look at that cat jump, I think you’ll see its back legs slipped when it launched. Cats can reportedly jump 5 times as they are high and 7 times their tail length. With firm footing, it could have easily made the leap.
That cat is a lot like conservatives this year. Here we are facing one of the most important, if not the most important, elections in decades, and Mitt Romney is the current frontrunner?!? Talk about leaping to our doom. We really plan to beat Obama with Obama-lite???? Really?
Unless I'm missing something, that's what Mormons do when they go on their mission. Why would we be surprised?
