I’ve switched to Bing. You can also set it so it doesn’t keep a record of your searches. I find it to be every bit as good a search engine as Google.

I've tried so many alternatives, I'm dizzy. I dislike google and their politics. But they seem to outperform the others I've tried including Ask, Dogpile, Web Crawler and Lycos.

A while back I heard about a new engine started up by a conservative group, but I have now recollection of name. I guess I might have tried them with no success.
