Patriotic Assimilation is as American as…well, as Broncos Football!

I confess I am not a zealous football fan, and until a month ago, I hoped Tim Tebow would don a Colorado Rockies uniform so I could get really excited about him. But like the other five million residents of Colorado, I have come to love the amazing Broncos quarterback who does not hide his evangelical Christian faith.

According to a poll by a national sports magazine, Tebow is today the most popular American athlete, ahead of Kobe Bryant, Tiger Woods, Peyton Manning, and (no surprise here) Tom Brady.

Tim Tebow has made believers out of millions in more ways than one. Add to the list three devout Muslim brothers in north Denver.

Go Tebow! It is right now 14-7, New England, but Denver has the ball....95 yards to go to tie the game!

They can say what they want, Brady and Belicheat have to be feeling the pressure.

The last post-season game they won was in 2007 against San Diego!

Assimilation is greatly under rated.

LOL.

I saw the story about the witches yesterday.

I didn't even know they were NFL fans.

Tebow is a terrific person and story but the option is not going to get it done against the Pats at home.

I had hoped the Bronco defense would keep it close but this might get ugly.

This is ugly...Brady with 4 scores in the first half...but they’ll make adjustments in the half and this could turn out to be not quite a a laugher. Brady’s last pass was a thing of beauty.

So far it looks like TBow is getting TBoned. I have nothing against TBow, but please.......he is hardly the only player that has demonstrated their faith on or off the field before in the NFL.

I don’t think no amount of intervention would help against the Brady passing attack!

He should.

If they had lost a third straight home playoff game, I doubt they'd keep comparing him to Montana and Marino.

It’s not always about the rings.

Well, considering that Denver had no offensive line nor defense on the field, Timmy did fairly well!
