The only way to stop a earth destroying meteor is to have NASA deliver a nuke. Ron Paul says military operations are not in NASA’s charter so therefore he is opposed.

I’m not sure a nuke is a good idea (Depends on the rock) but Paul is a moron. The one astronaut I’ve met was a retired Brigadier General,(USAF). That was Jim McDivitt. Gemini 4 and Apollo 9.
