Screw that. I want butter, pork and salt!

If my health changes or my loved ones, my opinion will change.

Until then, my habits and that of my family doesn’t change because some TV person[s] develops an issue.

Actually, a very lean pork cut is better than a chicken breast and we are not and don’t intend to go vegetarian.

Gah! This is so annoying. Pfffft! on them and their whoring of this story!!!

Made scalloped potatoes last night. Left out the butter. Tasted like crap. Added butter!! Wow! Wow!!

Butter is a gift from God.

I'm laughing because ALL these healthy shows, like Oz...are selling everything under the sun. It's all about marketing.

We're living into the late 70's and beyond...and these are the meat and potato folks.

Knock yourself out, but pork and poultry are equally bad for the huiman body. It doesn’t matter. Animal protein contains cholesterol, which the body does not need in excess of what it creates itself.

Me too! You only live once-—why go through life eating like a rabbit?

I will be heading to Savannah on St Patrick’s week and I will make a special point of visiting Paula’s restaurant for some of that high-caloric deliciousness!

I eat primally or paleo or whatever you want to call it. I eat BUTTER and lots of good fats! OH and....fatty MEAT and EGGS. Guess what? I finally lost that 35 pounds I needed to lose and I feel great! My cholesterol is great! It’s not the fat that makes you FAT, it’s the carbs...the sugar and grain especially WHEAT! I started eating this way after being diagnosed with being hypoglycemic. Now my blood sugar stays level. I don’t care what other people eat BUT sometimes you have to use the brains that God gave you. Ever since this country started pushing LOW FAT and WHOLE GRAINS, people have gotten FATTER and FATTER and DIABETES has soared! It obviously hasn’t been working!

I’m with you. And “plant-based diet?” Fuggedabout it. Gimme Atkins and the Cave Man. The only time I’ve ever lost weight is on Atkins. Every time I go to salads and crap, I starve.
