How could anything Gingrich said be classed as a “glib, cheap shot”? Everything he said was true. All he was doing was “speaking truth to power”, as the ‘Rats used to say during the Bush years. If they could do it then, we can do it now.
Ann has always had a sharp tongue, but she used to also have a sharp mind to go with it. Now, not so much.
I honestly don't know what's happened to her, but one thing is certain; she's either lost some basic ability to reason, or she truly has compromised her principles and gone to the dark side.
Either way, she's fired.

I really liked Ann when she was a sunny, upbeat conservative, with a razor sharp wit. I guess that would have been during Dubya's first term, and maybe a couple of years past that.
Sometime after the Dems took over Congress, and the leftmedia pounded Dubya down to an unrecognizable pulp, she seemed like she was growing more brittle, and losing some of her spark.
Don't know what happened. Maybe she lost hope or something, but she seems well on her way to becoming a turncoat conservative. I mean, how conservative is it to back Romney for president???

I always figured her for a phony and opportunist. She was never a legit conservative, AFAICT, she ways always about herself.
It’s sad she’s had so many conservatives suckered over the years, but the good news is her true colors have been showing for a over a year now, and now there’s no going back for her.

There's gotta be some reason for her departure from reality. That's as good a one as any I've heard.
