Prayers for Mother, Please!

Hi everyone. My 78 year old mother fell this past week, severely breaking her hip at the femural head (where the abductor muscles attach) and her shoulder in two places. They did surgery (rod and pins) for the hip, but are slinging and swathing the arm/shoulder. Your prayers would be greatly appreciated.

Your mom and you have my prayers. At the same age, my mother in law fell and broker her hip, etc. I can’t remember details now, but it was a bit of a haul through surgery and rehab, but eventually she did walk normally again, even without a cane. It is amazing what PT can do these days.

Her name is Faye.
By the way, she was moved to a “rehab” facility that turned out to be a nursing home the day after I left. The more I read about this place the worse I feel about it. I’ll be going up again Thursday to check it out. I think I may have to pitch a royal hissy fit. They don’t have phones in the rooms or even a potty chair for bedside!
