Out of all those movies, I’ve seen one...War Horse.

I’m surprised Sarah Jessica Parker wasn’t nominated for her lead role in ‘War Horse’...lol

Interesting. I probably only recognized the titles of two of the movies. My guess because this is an award ceremony by actors for actors that anything to do with “The Help” will win an Oscar.
I used to love watching, but that was in the old days when these people still liked being Americans. When the bashing started I stopped watching.

Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close for best picture?
Stupid title, unbelievable plot.
Even Rotten Tomatoes only gives it a 48%.

Guess they forgot to add Rosy O’Donnel as a security guard searching for Dick Cheney and his satchel charges.

Christopher Plummer is a lock: an actor with a long distinguished career whom has never won before, and to top it off, he’s playing a character who comes out as gay. A mortal lock!

Best Actor is between Clooney and Pitt. I don’t think any of the other nominees have a chance but we’ll see.

Best Actress is between Streep and Williams. Maybe the voters are tired of Streep and will go with Williams.

As for the rest..... who knows?

I’m rooting for “Hugo.” I’m surprised Ben Kingsley wasn’t nominated for at least Best Supporting Actor.

I got Moneyball in my cue @ home maybe I’ll watch it with some buddies this weekend. Midnight in Paris is @ Redbox think I’ll go check that out as well. Usually I don’t give two craps about the oscars I just got to see what got nominated.

I'm banking on Clooney and Pitt splitting the nominally talented actor vote and Oldman emerging triumphant.

Only four of the awards go to actors. The Help doesn’t even lead in the amount of nominations.

I have yet to figure out why people get on a thread and post that they don't care about the thread. I am assuming it is some sort of psychosis. Some sort of narcissistic need to be noticed at all costs.

Sad.

That is just in case you are not aware that they really, really don't care.
