GEORGETOWN, Ind. -- A southern Indiana man was arrested Friday and charged with molesting a 12-year-old girl at a party.
The suspect, 18-year-old Dustin Keeton, was booked into jail about 8 p.m. Friday.
Police said Keeton kissed and fondled the girl at a party at a Georgetown home. According to court documents, Keeton told a detective he met the girl through Facebook, and the two began talking and texting.
Police said soon thereafter, Keeton molested the girl two different times on consecutive days at a friend's house in Georgetown two weeks ago.
Those documents stated that Keeton told a detective there had been several people there for a small party, during which they smoked the drug spice and drank alcohol.
The documents stated, "He advised that he gave the victim a hit of 'spice' and that she also consumed approximately one to two shots of vodka. Dustin advised that sometime during the night he also kissed the victim, pulled her shirt down and kissed and fondled her breasts."

In the eyes of the law a child is not capable of consenting to sexual conduct, whether the child enjoys it or not. The region of the brain responsible for judgment isn’t even fully functional until the late teens/early twenties, IIRC.
True, however you obviously can’t say this is the same situation as a 50 year old man molesting a young girl. More a case of horny teenagers and irresponsible parents.

I read that line and suddenly my gag reflex was overstimulated. We are facing the most critical election in American history, and we have 18 year old voter?

A 17 and 18 year old or a 12 and 13 year old, maybe. 18 and 12 is a young adult male taking advantage of some dumb kid who just sprouted titties. Six years is a huge difference at that age. If that girl has any kind of father the 18 year old should be in fear of not seeing 19.
If that girl had any kind of father at all, she wouldn't have been left unescorted/unsupervised at a party around people like that, much less downing shots of vodka (impairs judgment in an adult, imagine what it will do to a kid) by herself.
(As an aside, I'll say that a child who grows up in a household with a healthy regard for alcohol, e.g. is allowed a sip of Uncle's martini or a bit of wine with a holiday dinner, under parental supervision of course! -- will be much less likely to sneak off and down vodka shots when she's twelve.)

I’m guessing that if the kid’s dad had walked into the room at that moment, that’s what would have happened.
In regards to pin the tail on the donkey, I can only guess what would be pinned.
Never had any trouble with Pin the Tail on the Donkey but the Pinata turned into a free for all with 12 year old boys beating each other to a pulp over cheap candy. But if that’s what you guys like........... ;}
