Newt Gingrich was in Top Form during a post Las Vegas News Conference-FoxNews with blindspots
February 4, 2012 | Ralph Mitchell

Posted on 02/04/2012 9:07:37 PM PST by mitchell001

Newt Gingrich is a brilliant speaker and a brilliant political leader. He demonstrated an opennes and a command of conservatism during his post LasVegas Caucus news conference. Fox News analysts were openly unfair in their analysis of Gingrich's news conference. They were openly jealous that Newt is head and shoulders above Romney, Santorum and Paul. Fox News has blindspots, since only Charles Krauthammer acknowledged Gingrich's superiority over Romney in expressing detailed policy positions such as Obama's denying American Catholics Freedom of Religion by forcing them to violate their beliefs by requiring them to pay for artificial contraception with Obamacare requirements.

I thought Newt’s press conference was fine. I’m still shocked at the orchestrated attack on Newt by the Fox news panel. Its just unbelievable. I never thought I would say it but CNN is reporting more fairly on Gingrich than Foxney news. I used to like and respect Kraut, Cristol, Britt Hume. Now I almost loathe them. I can hardly stand to watch them.

I have been watching, with extreme disgust, how the “Lamestream Media” (cough, cough, barf, barf) has been systematically HERDING the stupid public toward Mitt Romney by coming up with perfectly timed dirt on any other viable candidate. They eliminated Cain, with his possibly unsavory relationship with another woman suddenly surfaces, Palin, with her son and daughter pseudo-scandals, etc. They brought up equally non-relevant stuff on Newt, but to his credit, he hasn’t caved. Romney is a blatant RINO, he would make a lousy President. I don’t entirely doubt that he would be taking his marching orders from the Mormon church, either. The one advantage to him over Odumma is that he doesn’t BLATANTLY hate America and doesn’t seem to be trying to remake it after a Marxist model as fast as he can. What a crappy choice for American voters: a superficial RINO spouting innocuous (or not so innocuous) pap, or a vicious American-hating Marxist imposter.

She called Newt an influence peddler. Big deal. She’s lost her edge and millions of her fans.

That was one very hostile press firing questions at Newt during the news conference. But they’re equally tough on Rick Santorum and Ron Paul. Oh, wait...

Something less like a safety net that simply catches you and more like an internet that connects you to possibilities, information... I guess the net being called a web made me have this thought.

Well, her guy Romney is a liberal masquerading as a Republican.

To say that Coulter is off her rockers, would be polite. It was only a few years ago that she was huge conservative hit. Now she is pimping Romneycare. Some of us have whiplash at her sudden turn.

She called Newt an influence peddler.

You got to wonder why all the influence *peddlees* are lined up against him.

Shouldn't have called her a DINGBAT, should have called her an PHONY IDIOT DINGBAT.

Faux News is just a liberal as MSNBC. Not a nickles worth of difference in the two networks. Rupbert Murdoch, who has given millions to democrats determines the candidate his reporters get behind. He loves liberal Romney, therefore the mouthpieces he has working for him love Romney. Its as simple as that.

“I can hardly stand to watch them.”

Me too. I get so depressed at their treachery I come running back to Free Republic, seemingly the only intelligent well-informed conservatives in the universe.

By the way, I am done with FOX News! Rotten bunch of crap. Guess I’ll have to switch to CNN. Not much better but FOX is done.

Switch to Freerepublic.com exclusively, like most of us, and give up TeeVee!

If Hannity and O’Reilly were really conservatives they would tell their viewers that there is no way they could ever support a pro-abortion, pro-homo marriage, gun-grabbing, socialised medicine candidate and that candidate is Romney.

Coulter and all the rest of the elitist media fringe of the Ruling Class are doing what they think is in ‘our best interest’...making sure that Romney becomes the nominee, to maintain their power base within the R party and their income stream (books, TV fees, etc) as one of the wise all-seeing political gurus that “got it right” and “helped defeat Obama”

Just fast-forward to a year from now, that’s what you’ll be hearing...
