Five other cops showed up. They lost sight of Loggins. They didn’t bother to block his car. They didn’t check on the kids, or talk to them. They made no effort to remove them from the car.
Yet the deputy said to himself, “I have an opinion that I have a deep concern for the (kids).” No statement on the conduct or reaction of the kids at the time.
Deep concern replaces using deadly force to prevent the death or great bodily harm to an innocent?
And he fired into the car, where the cops had apparently decided that they didn’t have an opinion that they had a deep concern for the kids.
Six cops, one “suspect.”
Being at the beach before 0500 is a glorious thing, you should try it sometime.
I have been.....I was merely thinking that it is hard to read anything by dark.
So he supposedly drove through a locked gate, obviously into the track?
The officer was afraid he wuld drive off. Where? Onto the track? If they blocked the entrance how was he going to drive off?
Arm a punk and tell everyone he is a peace officer.
“Something is very, very strange about this incident.”
Yeah, because right now it looks like the cops saw a black guy and shot him down.
Sorry, but the story they give makes LESS sense than that.
I mean, they had how many cops there and they did not attempt to subdue the guy they just SHOT him and not just shot him, but killed him?
WTF is the only reaction I have to this.
Precrime death penalty. This may be murder. We need a trial.
Is this how good police work is done today....get “a feeling” and then go murder the citizen?
The investigation into such killings needs to be done by outside non-law enforcement related organizations that have a vested interest in protecting the citizens, and getting to the truth....not covering up for murder.
