In Massachusetts Superior Court a lawsuit has been filed by an atheist couple.
They claim their children "are being discriminated against because the Pledge of Allegiance."
The Pledge is said in school.. in the classroom.
The couple is upset about the phrase "under God."
According to The Christian Post..
"The daily recitation in public schools of a pledge declaring that the nation is 'under God' is discriminatory toward atheists and humanists," David Niose, president of the American Humanist Association and lead attorney for the plaintiffs in the case, stated.
Thanks Enterprise! But I had thought there was something about schools she did too.
This is something pulled from a Wiki article about her:
“She is best known for the Murray v. Curlett lawsuit, which led to a landmark Supreme Court ruling ending official Bible-reading in American public schools in 1963. Officially-sponsored prayer in schools had been ended a year earlier by the Supreme Court in Engel v. Vitale. O’Hair later founded American Atheists and became so controversial that in 1964 Life magazine referred to her as “the most hated woman in America.”
Here’s a link about that court case on Wiki:

That may be what you’re talking about.
Yep, that was it. In remembering reading about her when she said OMG! when the pope was shot back when.
If a conservative is an unbeliever, he doesn’t pray or attend church. If a liberal is an unbeliever he wants all mention of God removed from public life.
Now I am personally offended
