President Obama is touring a Master Lock factory in Milwaukee on Wednesday to urge manufacturers to return jobs to the United States-- part of a wider plan by his administration to increase the number of domestic manufacturing jobs.
"Right now we have an excellent opportunity to bring manufacturing back-- but we have to seize it," Obama intends to say, according to prepared remarks released by the White House.

Considering almost all of the Master Lock product line of any signifigant volume of units sold, is made in China.......you would think it would get fair mention and analysis?
There is no “plan”. It is all lies. It is just dishonesty parroted over and over by the MSM to make it seem like Obama is actually doing something.
Just another Democrat slogan....intended to convey something positive, like “Shovel Ready”, but in reality will amount to nothing.
What will eventually happen in 2 years time is the underground economy will flourish as no one can afford another employee. Cash or 1099 will be king.
Insourcing is what Obama and the complicit, evil Congress and the King’s 850 staffers that clog the White Hut halls understand the most. However,it’s not ‘insourcing’ in the context used here, rather it’s swinish gluttony with China’s money as they shove it into their gaping mouths with no planning as to what happens at the other end of their anatomy.
They are, in short, hogs who have somehow managed to get a large cork stuck in their gluttonous arses.
If he actually does have a plan it probably revolves around increasing union membership rather than manufacturing itself.
Aboslutely!! Master Lock is doing well because zero has killed the housing market and the mortgage companies need those locks on the houses they foreclosed on!!
Obama intends to balance his massive over-regulation and Obamacare by trashing the US Dollar, ie) Make wages of American workers so low relative to other countries that some manufacturers actually decide to remain in (or come to) the USA.
100 jobs, out of probably thousands.

Only by bringing our standard of living down to Mexico’s levels. The main reason that our industry left for China was NOT wages, it was very crappy manufacturing environment, with unions holding companies hostage, more and more environmental and labor regulations being imposed, and a legal system on steroids.
So we have two choices, have China make stuff cheap for us, or pay $4,000 for your next laptop (and see how much money you left for that plasma that you always wanted).
It’s that simple.
What opportunity is he talking about? The only thing I can think of is that we are devaluing the dollar so much that we might actually be competitive with 3rd world wages pretty soon.
