BooOOOOO YYYaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!
She would be the only reason I would watch a 500 mile left turn.
I’m glad Danica has gone to NASCAR. Maybe now they’ll talk about other drivers. You know, like, drivers who actually win races?
Why would Smoke sign her otherwise? She looks better in a bikini than Newman in a SPeedo, perhaps *-?
This ain't Winston Cup racing, that's for sure.
And by “they” I mean IndyCar commentators.
It’s almost odd ‘they’ would single out Danica, there are more than one or two female drivers running in many races these days. I say let them race... if they crash they crash.. it’s about the racing and being lucky once and awhile.
Restrictor plates and women drivers.
Now all they need to do is replace Darrell Waltrip and
Chris Myers with Whoopi Goldberg and Bill Maher and the
chickification of NASCAR will be complete. Will the new
affirmative action rules allow for rubbing, slamming,
pushing or drafting Patrick? When are they going to
impose speed limits on the track?
This thread is worthless without MORE pics..
Thank you very much sir!
Even with Danica’s exit, there are still two women driving in IndyCar. Both have experience with big crashes; one is Simona de Silvestro, who crashed hard during practice at Indy (and STILL managed to qualify for the race, in an overweight backup car with her hands bandaged!). The other is Katherine Legge, who had 15 minutes of fame back in ‘06, when she crashed in the Kink at Road America during a Champ Car race.
Given all the attention Legge received for crashing, I can only imagine what would ensue for auto racing’s first female driver fatality...
Cue the photos of a half-naked teenage boy .....
Danica Patrick will give ‘pole position’ a brand new meaning.
You left out the other part:
Turn left and GO FAST!
“Will the new affirmative action rules allow for rubbing, slamming, pushing or drafting Patrick?”
Why on earth would we ban rubbing, slamming, pushing, or drafting Danica Patrick. These all seem like laudable goals.
I’d like to spend an afternoon swapping paint with her!
not to mention "I'd hit it" (or at least bump-draft it)
Post # 9.............looks as though one would need a crowbar to hit that. Than again, could just be a ploy ?
Y’know, it could be worse. Milka Duno still has a ride. Granted, she’s in ARCA, the double-A ball of stock car racing. And she was the first car wrecked out of the ARCA race at Daytona on Saturday. And somehow, someway, despite a decent save when she got spun and managing not to hit ANYTHING and slide onto pit road...the next shot of her car was hanging on the back of a wrecker.
Patrick, de Silvestro, and (maybe) Legge have shown occasional flashes of skill. Patrick’s had some decent runs in Nationwide the past year, and she has won an Indy car race (granted, a fuel economy run, but still, a win’s a win). Duno’s never had anything going for her besides her looks.
