Tiny lizards found in Madagascar

One of the world's tiniest lizards has been discovered by keen-eyed researchers in Madagascar.

The miniature chameleon, Brookesia micra, reaches a maximum length of just 29mm.

German scientists also found a further three new species in the north of the island.

The lizards were limited to very small ranges and scientists are concerned they could be at risk from habitat disturbance.

Meh. Typical beard-scratching pseudo scientists.

These lizards have existed and survived for millions of years in absolute obscurity, but now that the green-weenies have “discovered” them, we need to evacuate Madagascar of all humans to ensure the survival of these reptiles.

Quick! Somebody call the UN and get me a grant so I can study these critters.

Idiots.

Big deal! I saw tiny lizards all over the place last week down in West Palm Beach.
