Rush theorized, and I agree, that the estabs want to run Romney not to defeat Obama, but to hopefully keep the love of the sainted independent voters enough to have a shot at winning the Senate and holding onto the House.

WHEN are we going to insist on a constitutional amendment requiring ALL US politicians elected to office to undergo random drug testing? Just about every government employee has to do it except idiots like this Pelosi who make decisions for MILLIONS of people! I mean come on, AL Franken was a known cocaine fanatic on SNL and this guy just waltzes into Congress? I keep hearing about $4+ gas in California and I’m wondering how gas prices can be so different around the States. In nearby Denver, my gas buddy site shows lots of stations charging about 2.92, and the highest price, at the airport, is 3.35.
Is gas really 25% cheaper in Denver than in LA?

I’m in Los Angeles and we’re already at $4. Almost at $5 for diesel. Hope and change.
I filled up my tank this past Friday, here in Indiana, for $3.17/gallon. On Saturday, the price rose sharply to 3.47. It may have been $3.57 in some places here.
There is a disparity throughout the nation; it depends on many things, one of which is from where your region's gasoline is distributed.
