I had a college professor in the “70”s that told me the reason we study to learn is because the more we know, the more we know we don’t know. Then he added, the day we think we know it all, is the day we need to start studying again, because we forgot the real reason we study.
I remember reading somwhere that the reason we live is to learn to love, and the reason dogs die at such a young age relative to humans, is they’ve already learned that lesson.
