Strange how after all of the teacher/student relationship stories over the years and this woman couldn’t practice a little self control? With an 8th grader!?

I just can’t understand the mentality of anyone who could be interested, sexually, in a child.

I think the point of all the stories is to create a social consensus that there’s no reason she should control herself, because there’s nothing wrong with an adult woman’s screwing an 8th-grade boy. They’re both just animals with overwhelming drives, and anyone who objects is a self-righteous prude.

Worst part is she LOOKS like a trustworthy, sweet, kind and innocent middle school teacher. I’ll bet she was popular with the parents. (in all ways)

Does it say anywhere in the story that the student was a boy?

These acts between teachers and students are absolutely no different from the same acts between clergy and children.

The only difference is that the media responds to one event with efforts to humiliate and shut down the institution and responds to the other events with silence on the institution, followed by requests for more money for teachers unions.

excuse me; everyone’s guilty until proven innocent! Once accused, guilt is presumed.

Yes, it identifies the victim as a boy!

Children's Protective Services, Spring Branch ISD police, and the State Board for Educator Certification are also investigating.

Murray has not been charged.

From the video:

This allegation, if true...

Guess it will soon become apparent what really happened.

She is clearly not guilty, though she has proven herself far from innocent...

I’ll wait until there’s more information on this. Before everyone’s kneejerk reaction, I’ve seen how schools and cops can twist and totally make up bs charges. It won’t matter if the teacher is 100% innocent, her life is ruined and she’ll never be able to teach or work with children again.

Here .. if she's beautiful and/or hot .. we deem her, "Not Guilty"

Yeah, it's very sexist, chauvinist and any other ist you want to lay on us.

A public school teacher was fired...

Similar stories indicate that the burden of proof for firing a public school teacher is greater than that to get a conviction in these cases.

These cases always read, “Teacher suspended after...”

I've often wondered why that is. And I'd almost bet money that if some of those cases you refer to were Baptist instead of Catholic, you'd see a different type of coverage...
