And some people don't think we live in a police state?

I love John Stossel and his documentaries. His shows are very informative.

Tonight's Special: Illegal Everything (airs 9 PM ET on Fox News)

Any candidate who talks about rolling back the beuracracies and about allowing the citizens more freedoms, and talks about this often will win the election.

People are tired of this.

that guy is sharp as a tack and I love his politics.

have you heard him interviewed? It’s like he becomes this completely other person —cold and remote. Unruffled about anything it all —it’s so weird.

I think his liberal journo colleagues stab him in the back a lot?

I love his reports, but....he has this other side.

Some things aren't illegal.

A person can break into this country - pretend to be a citizen - collect food stamps... and nothing will happen to them.

Apparently it's also not illegal to kill two soldiers if the killers are ticked off that a koran has been burned...

Gotta love liberal standards...

“get permission from the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.”

Department of MENTAL HYGIENE??? That’s just downright scary.

We have been living in a police state for many years. Americans are basically so stupid they are like the frog placed in cold water and then cooked to death and they didn't even know it.

It’s no wonder that Barbara Walters hated Stossel. He’s probably a lot happier on FOX than he was working with that old harpie on ABC.

"Did you really think we want those laws observed?" said Dr. Ferris. "We want them to be broken. You'd better get it straight that it's not a bunch of boy scouts you're up against... We're after power and we mean it... There's no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough criminals one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. Who wants a nation of law-abiding citizens? What's there in that for anyone? But just pass the kind of laws that can neither be observed nor enforced or objectively interpreted – and you create a nation of law-breakers – and then you cash in on guilt. Now that's the system, Mr. Reardon, that's the game, and once you understand it, you'll be much easier to deal with."

I agree with Stossel on some things, but certainly not everything.
