Awake stars this week (Mar 1 NBC). Not sure yet if it’s really SF but it at least has a science fictional concept.
We watched something this weekend that we had recorded on SyFy called (I think I’m getting this right) Pandorum with Dennis Quaid and Ben Foster. It was a little uneven (partly because I had a difficult time understanding some of the dialogue—I’m never sure if that’s me, my TV or do they just do a really poor job anymore of sound recording?) But it was interesting enough that we watched the whole thing and by golly, the ending was actually a nice twist. We enjoyed it anyway.
It does, I totally forgot about the show especially the episode in where the Chinese was giving us lectures about peace..
I always fall asleep early in the picture, during that scene when Heywood Floyd is sitting around with four or five other nimrods, on the space station, and no one says anything for about five minutes. So, I’m the wrong one to ask. ;’)
Since the original was “Rendezvous with Rama”, I think the answer is, the former.
I’m guessing it was because of the monolith..
