“XP is a relic. Microsoft is no longer supporting. They stopped supporting it a year or two ago.”

I’m still getting updates every Tuesday. I’ll update when those computers die. I think I still have two unused licenses for XP Pro SP3.

All of my new machines are dual booting Win7 64 bit and Ubuntu Linux.

On April 8, 2014, all support for Windows XP, including security updates and hotfixes, will be terminated.[2] Users will still be able to download old updates and hotfixes from Windows Update. Microsoft recommends that users upgrade to Windows 7.[107]

On January 14, 2020, support for volume license users downgrading their licenses from Windows 7 to Windows XP ends, making Windows XP officially obsolete.[3]
