Racism is not the issue here. However, knowing the foundation on which our government’s legitimacy is based is vital. Please read Article II, Section 1 of the Constitution: “No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States at the time of the adoption of this Constitution shall be eligible to the Office of President.....” Bear in mind that all of the Founders and most of the Framers were British subjects until after the Revolution.
We need to be fully informed and clear about the ground we stand on.
