Sometimes it takes one to know one. Fox Business Network’s Imus In The Morning host Don Imus—who knows a thing or two about public apologies—didn’t find Rush Limbaugh’s weekend mea culpa to Sandra Fluke particularly convincing. Imus’ take: “A lame apology on his website, in which he says he didn’t mean to personally attack her, is gutless.” Imus took issue with Limbaugh’s “sustained, vile, personal attack” on Fluke over three days, and said that if he’s going to apologize, you have to “go sit down with her.” And there’s (much) more. Imus, who doesn't spare himself when using sometimes over-the-top-language, added, “He’s a fat, gutless loser, and if I’m running a radio station, he’s not on it until he does that. It’s the worst kind of cowardice. Maybe he’s still jacked up on Oxycontin, but you can’t say stuff about somebody and not own up to it. He’s a punk.”
Imus is still on, what, a few stations? Rush must have about 600, is paid $50 million a year, and has about 20 million listeners. A "loser", J.D. Imus?
This proves what a gutless fraud Imus was. Rush, and all of conservative talk radio, came to his defense over the nappy headed hoe’s comment on his show.
Now he’s siding with the nappy headed hoe’s vs Rush. What a shameless punk.
Is that nappy-headed ho still alive?

Imus does not understand Rush’s belief that words have meaning. If Rush stabbed a person that he believes he really should have shot, and the stabbing method caused something of a social problem for the family of the victim, he may apologize by saying, and sincerely meaning, “I apologize for using stabbing as my method of killing you.”.
Rush gets very specific. That is why he can come out with a specific apology about the use of specific words, and then come out Monday hammering Fluke again, but with different, more precise words.
It’s almost like saying, “I’m sincerely sorry I called you a slut. You are not a slut and that was a very derogatory and improper use of words. What you are is a bitch.”
Imus’ mind is failing faster than Coulter’s estrogen is dropping!
Exactly. His show is a snooooooozzzzzeeeee. Boring as hell and asinine.
The real “punk” is him. He isn’t grateful to those who stood up and defended him. Instead he’s now lowered himself to playing the jealous holier-than-thou in order to gain some accolades from weasel leftists (right and left).
He’s a no-class bastard.
I expect nothing less from this sick, old, foul mouthed, jealous, self-absorbed Romney supporter.

So far as these sponsors who are dropping Rush, would think Snapple Tea would cross their minds.
Snapple dropped Rush after he made them, Snapple then went bankrupt. Today Rush has his own brand of tea.
But I will play their game, for those who have dropped Rush, I will now boycott them. If enough Ditto Heads do likewise, methinks those ex-sponsors will get the message that axe cuts both ways.
OTOH; Imus is what he is. Unfortunately. Half-right; and half-bright; and politically; not loyal to anyone. Did not hear any rebuttals from his chorus; but then; do not listen to - or watch - Imus with full attention. Takes to much effort; and he is not worth it.
Rush was hooked on prescription Vicoden for a bad back. Where did Imus get a prescription for coke for a bad nose.?
Imus is the guy who’s radio show is so awful that he has to hire sidekicks to fake belly laugh over everything he says. He’s actually about as funny and entertaining as a bad case of cancer.
Yuck Fou don Imus.
When we have his TV show on in the a.m., we comment that his show would be good — if he weren’t on it. Leave it to Bernie, Dagen, Connell, and the rest of the staff.
Imus is a shallow thinker, similar to O’Reilly.
