JAKARTA, Indonesia (AP) — Once, long ago, Evie looked after "Barry" Obama, the kid who would grow up to become the world's most powerful man. Now, his transgender former nanny has given up her tight, flowery dresses, her brocade vest and her bras, and is living in fear on Indonesia's streets.
Evie, who was born a man but believes she is really a woman, has endured a lifetime of taunts and beatings because of her identity. She describes how soldiers once shaved her long, black hair to the scalp and smashed out glowing cigarettes onto her hands and arms.
The turning point came when she found a transgender friend's bloated body floating in a backed-up sewage canal two decades ago. She grabbed all her girlie clothes in her arms and stuffed them into two big boxes. Half-used lipstick, powder, eye makeup — she gave them all away.

Barry’s history is a real freak show. No wonder he’s so messed up.
AP uses “she” and “her” to talk about the person, but the article never says the person had a sex change operation to physically change sex.
It may be more accurate to say this person is a cross-dressing homosexual who is properly referred to as “he” and “him” if there never was a sex-change operation.
There is no such thing as a “sex change” operation. He remains a he regardless of cosmetic surgery.
I read this earlier, but failed to notice the way AP continually refers to this guy as “she.” Even after his friend was murdered by soldiers, and he packed up all his girly clothes and got rid of them.
News for AP and the politically correct. You cannot change your sex by wishing it.
Throw in Frank Marshall Davis and you wonder how he ended up as . . . 'normal' . . . as he did.

Perhaps AP slipped up, here? Most people probably do not know l’il Barry was raised in Indonesia.
If people hear it on MSM, then it must be true. Perhaps now people can get an idea that L’il Barry is screwed up mentally.
As the twig is bent, so grows the tree.
So we have a transgendered nanny and mullahs in the madrasah in the largest Muslim population in the world.
