New Push to Ban Hunting
Fox News Channel | 3/16/12

Posted on 03/16/2012 6:51:46 AM PDT by pabianice

Now on Fox. Mr. Donnie Dann of the Bird Conservation Network, is on, demanding that the EPA ban lead ammunition as it "is the most toxic substance on the planet and is poisoning America." A guy from the National Shooting Sports Foundation is trying to say that the EPA is, by law, banned from regulating lead in ammunition, but Mr. Dann, doing a great Doctor Emmett Brown imitation, won't have any of it. He displays the 1000 yard, fried, seeing things the rest of us can't see, stare so typical of the deranged left. His group has brought suit to outlaw lead ammunition and he ain't hearing any argument against his stance.

Should be played all through the election season.

mark my words, if this clown gets a second term then the second amendment will be attacked like we have never seen before.

The Govt intrusion into our lives will be so much in every aspect that it will never be overturned unless we get a Maggie Thatcher

Lead poisoning deaths = less than 1 person per year in USA

Lost a couple of birds that ate bird shot...Fish probably think they're peanuts...but generally they die from eating my worm.

Metallic lead in a bullet in the ground is mostly inert, otherwise old battlegrounds (most of Europe and large tracts of north America) would be unfit for human habitation.

Environmentalists are proven liars. Period.

demanding that the EPA ban lead ammunition as it "is the most toxic substance on the planet and is poisoning America

Whenever the environuts want to ban or restrict something it becomes the “most toxic substance on the planet. If they want to shutdown coal fired power plants the most toxic substance is mercury, if they want to stop duck hunting it is lead. Well sorry neither one is the most toxic substance on the planet.

"Thallium is frequently referred to as the poison of choice: Only a gram of the colorless, odorless, water-soluble heavy metal can kill. It is as toxic as arsenic, and even more so than lead."

Read more: http://www.answers.com/topic/thallium#ixzz1pHyrbH1U

I am pretty sure that certain snake and spider venoms are much more toxic than Thallium.

WBZ had a news item on early Wednesday morning about jewelry that was contaminated with the “Toxic Chemicals”; Lead and Arsenic. Then there was an ad from Jordan’s Furniture selling Periodic Tables.

If Barry gets a 2nd term he (and liberals in general) will see it as a mandate for their looniest ideas. This , of course, is a huge mistake on their part. At any rate I think youre correct. DC (liberals and republicans) will come at gun owners from all directions. It won’t be the simple assaults we’ve seen in the past. That and many of the restrictions/bans will be by edict (regulation, rules etc).

I can understand the confusion. I think what he was referring to was that Electronic Arts purchased the rights to Angry Birds from Rovio for $20 million dollars. Remember, cursors don’t kill birds, mouse clicks do.
