Missouri Senate Candidate, Sarah Steelman is Plowing Ahead, UPDATE: NEW POLL (Video)

We’ve discussed another fabulous “Sarah” here at C4P before.

She’s a great conservative who offers a bold contrast to Missouri voters who are looking to oust Claire McCaskill.

As part of the vetting process for Senate seekers, I wanted to share a new video released by Sarah Steelman along with the details of her ideas for energy.

On her website, she tells us:

Under the direction of President Obama and Claire McCaskill the United States has taken no credible action to ensure that we have an energy policy that meets the needs of our citizens and ensures that we are energy independent. Gas, oil, and energy prices continue to rise at an increasing rate affecting all businesses, big and small. Whether it be cap and trade, Solyndra, or the recent rejection of the Keystone Pipeline, this administration’s approach to energy independence has failed and will continue to fail unless a new vision is embodied.

My energy plan takes an “all of the above” approach to solving our current and future energy needs. The development of new technology must not be hindered while we capitalize off the plethora of current resources available. Enacting this energy plan will reduce our current dependence on foreign oil, decrease current energy prices, ensure stability in price for future energy consumption, and create several thousand jobs. We must act now.

I can’t remember what it was, but there was something that Sarah Steelman did that made me a fan of hers. It was something very “Palin-esque” where Steelman stood up to the Republican establishment in a situation where they were “RINO slip-sliding away” in Missouri. It was something that made me think she was definitely the real deal. Once I have some time, I’ll have to do some googling to find out what it was.

In any case, Sarah Steelman would be another too-rare breath of fresh air in the US Senate.

Can you imagine Steelman and McCaskill standing next to each other in a debate... bet you anything, Clair would avoid that meeting at any cost, both on substantive issues, then on appearances. Rush has always said Feminism was created to give the ugly some power at the political round table...

McCaskill could no longer stand up straight on a stage at this point. She’s been spending a number of months twisting herself into a pretzel in a vain attempt to APPEAR TO BE A CONSERVATIVE. It’s not going to work Claire!

I know I'm several days late to this thread. Thank you for posting it. Sarah Steelman would make a GREAT Senator. My big concern though is how much crap she'll have to put up with from the state party apparatus. When she ran for governor the state party threw their support behind the most bland but butt kissing candidate they could find, Kenny Hulshof. Hulshof of course got slaughtered at the polls.

I have heard on multiple occasions that the state GOP does not like Sarah Steelman because she doesn't play their games and kiss their rears. If we can get Steelman the nomination I'm sure it will be without the help of the Missouri GOP.
