Police looking for thief who wore Reagan mask during Palm Beach County robbery

Authorities are looking for an armed robber who struck a South Florida Burger King wearing a Ronald Reagan mask.

The robbery happened around 6:30 a.m. at the fast food restaurant on Northlake Boulevard in Lake Park, according to WPTV.

The masked thief, who was with a female accomplice, asked the clerk to hand over cash before the pair fled the scene, the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said.

It was unknown how much money the two got away with.

When I was stationed at Ft. Riley, KS in the early 90's, there was a Burger King located at one end of Custer Hill where all the troop barracks were. One morning someone walked into the BK in gray Army PT sweats with a black ski mask, held the place up, then melted outside into a division's worth of soldiers all dressed the exact same way. A couple days later, while people were still talking about how ballsy a move that was, presumably the same guy did it again.

As far as I know, he was never caught.
