Great analysis. I guess I have to agree with you are others on this thread who corrected my first reaction to the article. My impression is that it was Tebow slamming again.

I didn’t send the email to the authors, I composed it then had to rush off to work.
The media is hard on all players putting up mediocre stats, it’s their job, sports media criticizes. Heck even guys that put up good stats but do other stuff that can be considered negative get slammed, that’s how they fill their time. Super awesome player is super awesome is boring copy, and in this day and age of multiple all sports TV networks, multiple all sports radio stations in every city, multiple sport magazines, and hundreds of sports websites nobody has time for boring copy. Tebow really doesn’t get slammed any more often than anybody else, the difference he’s got a larger group of more loyal fans that get irritated when he gets slammed.

Yes, Tebow drama is probably making the sport writers happy. No conflict or criticism, boring stories.
