Trayvon suspended over marijuana; thousands expected at rally
Miami Herald ^ | March 26, 2012 | Frances Robles

Miami Gardens teenager Trayvon Martin was suspended from school because he was caught with an empty plastic bag with traces of marijuana in it, the boy’s family attorney has confirmed.

Trayvon was killed while serving out the suspension in Sanford Florida, where his father’s girlfriend lives. A community watch volunteer who thought he looked drugged out and suspicious called police and later wound up in a fight with him.

The two scuffled and volunteer George Zimmerman shot Trayvon, killing him. He has not been charged.

Tens of thousands of people are expected to converge on Sanford on Monday for an afternoon rally to protest the killing, which occurred one month ago today.

The Rev. Jesse Jackson, Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis, the Rev. Al Sharpton and comedian Sinbad are expected to speak at a 5 p.m. special City Commission meeting.

Several busloads of protesters left Miami early Monday to participate.

Do you see what I see? BLACK LAW STUDENTS ASSOCIATION. Guilt by Media?

They are supposed to know better, even in L1.

Oh, and did anyone notice the happy timing, covering up the big argument before the Supremes today, re Obamacare's constitutionality? Wonder if Justice Alito and Justice Kennedy have received their horseheads in their beds yet.

Very telling audio. I wish I’d listened to it sooner. Hopefully it will turn out like my daughter said- “If they’re looking for a white guy they’re not going to kill the Latino.”

Perfect tactic to expose the truth.

Use the less flattering and more recent photos of this fellow (nevertheless R.I.P.), and post them online on liberal forums, with the comment about what sad loss it is, blah blah blah. Spout their own narrative back at them. However, accompany it each time with this and the other less flattering, non-CNN/non-MSNBC Govermnet-Media Complex pics. People will not be able to accuse you of anything, and further, the pictures will invariably go viral, it will cause embarrassment, and it will walk all over their narrative they have established of this boy being a saint.

Japanese call his tactic "homegoroshi", 褒め殺し literally "praising an opponent into defeat". In other words, DO NOT SAY ANYTHING BAD ABOUT THE BOY, but then let the picture(s) accompany it and speak volumes. The photo itself will shout out anything you said, and outside of the hardline OJ Simpson/Michael Jackson supporters who will never be swayed, it can be a way to reach the fence sitters and White Guilt crowd, we must peal them away from the Alinsky tactics here. One picture worth thousand words.

Andrew (Breitbart) would know what to do, how to "counter narrative" this thing.

"Martin replied it’s not mine. A friend gave it to me,” according to the report. Trayvon declined to name the friend"

Sheesh. Straight out of C.O.P.S. Whatchya gonna do when they come for you, bad boy.

Traces of marijuana could mean [. . .] a couple hundred pounds.

This is a serious subject.

"Yup...I still think Fluke was to get gas prices off the air waves. That didn't work, so they went out hunting and this is the best they could come up with on short notice"

Exactly. And think about it, Bobo's on defense already -- pandering to firm up his base at the expense of Hispanic votes...

This by no means shows he did not punch a bus driver as claimed in his brother's twitter post.

The 'punching' incident was brought out in the context of his suspension. Add that to the list of inaccuracies from both sides of this.

Proceeding on foot was perfectly lawful for Zimmerman to do. The "confrontation" you are citing apparently occurred while Zimmerman was walking back to his vehicle, after having abandoned any pursuit (or following) of Martin. No person needs to consult with any "authority" in order to move freely about his own neighborhood.

Once Zimmerman stepped out of his vehicle he had overstepped the bounds of his authority. Even the police dispatcher told him to remain where he was and NOT follow Martin

These are the facts and everyone is in agreement with them.

The question that must be answered is WHY Zimmerman decided he had leave his vehicle and step in motion the chain of events that resulted in the taking of a life of an unarmed person

Can anyone of you Zimmerman supporters explain why Zimmerman decided to leave the safety of his warm truck and move towards Martin?

Zimmerman wasn't on duty as NW on the night in question, he was going to or from the store and noticed Trayvon [who he had not seen before].[there had also been a number of crimes committed by what witnesses described as Black men over a several month period]

Z called 9-11 to report a suspicious person and gave directions to the police on where they would find him.

Trayvon noticed someone was watching him and took off running.[for whatever reason] Zimmerman followed so he could give the police an accurate location for Trayvon.

He lost sight of him and returned in the direction of his vehicle. This is when Trayvon came from his hiding spot and asked, “Do you have a problem” Zimmerman said, “no’ and T said, “well, you do now” proceeded to punch Z in the face, knocking him to the ground.

Trayvon then got on top of Z and began pounding Z’s head into the pavement as Z screamed for help.

At some point, Z’s gun discharged killing T. During the struggle it appears the slide on the gun didn't complete it's action to load another bullet i the chamber. This would mean it was very close to a body or someones hand was wrapped around the weapon.

If it were my neighborhood, I would of done the same. I wouldn't be able to live with myself if Trayvon had or was going to rob or harm someone.

Your questions of Zimmerman leaving his vehicle has been answered again and again and again.....so what's your purpose of posting on all these threads the same thing again and again?

Zimmerman did NOT overstep by leaving his vehicle to inquire of the suspicious individual within his neighborhood....especially in light of the recent robberies and his position as Commander of the Neighborhood watch...he was doing his job....get that?

Further you have your information mixed up. The dispatcher asked him if he was following....he said yes, the dispatcher said..”we don't need you to do that”...Zimmerman said ‘Ok’.. and you can here him stop on the tape.

Furthermore....and as a matter of record now...as Zimmerman was returning to his Suv Martin came up behind him and said ..”do you have a problem”...

I'm going to repeat this Rooivalk because you're having difficulty understanding that ‘Martin’ is the one inciting this conversation......Martin said to Zimmerman...”do you have a problem”..........Zimmerman said ‘No”...and Martin said...”you do now” and then sucker punched him with a hard enough blow it broke his nose and he went down

...and Martin continued to bash his head into the sidewalk....(which matches the injuries on Zimmermans head)

Martin screams bloody murder and witness yells back he's calling 911....(he ‘sees’ Martin on top of Zimmerman bashing his head into the sidewalk and identifies later to the police what both were wearing.)

I will be interested in the toxicology report on Martina...and also the timing surrounding this as your friend Martin had plenty of time to return home and then some and did not after Zimmerman returned to his vehicle....and if Martin felt he was in danger then why didn't he call 911...he didn't.

Keeping in mind as well that Zimmerman knew the police were on the way as he returned to his vehicle.

Zimmerman did not set in motion these events...he was doing his job of keeping his neighborhood secure as commander of the neighborhood watch group....Martin was a stranger there as we know.

And you are wrong to say Zimmerman didn't abide by what the dispatcher said ....and you need to stop saying otherwise...it's clearly on the record and the tape that he stopped... and returned to his SUV.

And just for your information...This neighborhood watch group was NOT under the national watch groups guidelines....they were not registered with them and therefore did not have to comply with their guidelines....nor is it mandatory for any watch groups to be under any authority outside of working with the local police.

You can’t make this stuff up. Ray Lewis who was involved in a double murder and walked scot-free is demanding justice?

We’re probably wasting our breath trying to explain to the poster as some simply are not interested in the truth, rather of creating doubt and diverting from the facts as they’ve been established and evidence of.

It’s been written so many times and they just keep “invading” any thread and ask the same things over and over which makes me wonder what their intentions really are.....

Actuallly I see this as Obama using Sharpton....who uses Jackson...to fire up his black base which he’s been loosing for sometime now....he needs their votes because he won’t win alone by the the liberal white and every one knows it.

Black liberals have been using blacks for eons and it doesn’t take much to fire them up in mass......Obama knows how to rile his followers....shake them up and put them on the move....as we see happening..

Then you note all the organizations then jump on board as well....and the money flows into the coffers.

This been made into a purely “politcal” push by the liberal Obama machine and his followers...they know how to “Organize” eternal victims of society.

Note they are always the same groups, activists...and “students”.....who don’t work or have to tend to the day to day living the rest of us to.

‘Movement to Change’ is another group who’s been fueling this....if there’s suites they get a portion of the take.

Watch them all now go to WAshington......to Obama this will give him an idea how strong his force is for the election.

And maybe how many will burn loot and riot...if nothing else works. He's more or less promised Putin he's going to win. That's a huge promise to keep.

Well our guys are on the Putin issue....and he won’t get the co-operation from those within the agency either...who have already told Obama...it’s a no go.

What’s more than irritating is Obama is so dang sure he’s going to get another 4 years. It’s been said by some that he has no concerns about winning though those in his administration do stew from time to time.. he simply doesn’t see Santorum nor Romney as a threat.

There’s only one individual Obama has any concerns about and that’s Newt....and I think no matter how this primary goes for Newt...he’s not letting up on Obamas neck for a moment.

Just too darn bad the idiotic public can’t see that the only one Obama responds to is Newt....

His campaign said outright “We don’t want an Obama/Newt debates...and with Romneys help they pretty much locked Newt out of the race...along with the media they pimped to get the job done..

But that’s not going to stop Newt from speaking out.

Yep...and it appears that poster has 'other intentions' rather than see the facts as they are and unfold. Interesting factoid about the name....might explain the willful blinders.

Wow! That was a very interesting read...thank you for posting that link. Glad he finally was given his place among the honored of our nation...long past due.

“In 1986, Dr. Counter journeyed to Greenland and found the sons of Robert E. Peary and Matthew Henson (fathered with Inuit women). Subsequently he brought them and their families to the U.S. where they met American relatives and visited their fathers’ gravesites. Dr. Counter successfully petitioned President Reagan to place the remains of Matthew Henson where they belong—among the national heroes in Arlington Cemetery. On April 6, 1988, the remains of Matthew and Lucy Henson and his wife were re-interred with full military honours and an appropriate monument next to Robert and Josephine Peary in Arlington Cemetery.

Dr. Counter also garnered fitting acknowledgement of Matthew Henson’s Arctic and oceanographic explorations. On November13, 1998, the United States Navy commissioned the oceanographic vessel U.S.N.S. Henson, in honor of Matthew Henson.”
