Jack Dawson, you will recall, is the name of the character played by Leonardo DiCaprio in the 1997 film "Titanic." And this cemetery is the final resting place of more victims of the Titanic than any other.

Most of the Titanic victims died of hypothermia rather than drowning. IIRC all the unclaimed bodies were buried in the Halifax cemetery in a special annex.

Jack Dawson is fictional. The “J. Dawson” headstone is actually for a “Joseph Dawson” who shoveled coal in the engine room and is not whom the fictional character is based upon.

Until the anti-American Left is purged from CommieWood, they should be barred from making ANY historically based movies.

The cartoonish class warfare theme and utterly manufactured events in “Titanic” for example, eclipsed some very good special effects and cinematography.

Been watching Titanic specials OnDemand for 2 straight days.
