Yes he did, and like GHWB and many others, he has changed that position and opposes abortion.

Once again, my post 38 explained perfectly well why you will get conservative justices from Romney, and liberals from Obama.
In other words, Romney’s record is like him a damned lie. Romney runs as a “Conservative” because he cannot run as a Liberal and get the nomination.
