"The Big Broadcast is a Sunday night tradition for families throughout the WAMU listening area. Each week, Big Broadcast host Ed Walker offers listeners priceless recordings of popular radio programs from the '30s, '40s and '50s. Priceless, especially, for a man whose first sentence as a child was, 'Turn the radio on.' "

Make sure to listen to Jack Benny. I love that Easter tune he sings. The Greatest Story Ever Told also looks good.

Whered you go? We took a 12 day Caribbean cruise from Bayonne, NJ, which meant we didn't have to fly! It was wonderful and incredibly relaxing! We celebrated my husband's big birthday, and he loved it. I miss all the pampering!

This Greatest Story diverts from the actual account, and I’m very disappointed that they do not mention Jesus’ name, but at least they’re telling the story—as they do, anyway.

Evening, and Happy Easter, folks. Hope dinner was a good time for all - we had our little get-together at the daughter-in-law's yesterday to let the young-un's go on their search-and-destroy Easter Egg mission. That was a hoot. LOL
