The water hype started already, about three years ago.

Fortunately, water supply is a local thing. An eco-kook would really have to stretch to claim that my water use ca sues drought in Africa.

But according to Gore all of the ice will melt and the seas will rise, does this mean I have been wasting my time building up the sandbag retaining walls around my house here in Colorado Springs?

Actually, the sea level is dropping and the atmosphere is dropping with it. Instead of sandbags, you should have built one of those 60s era Sci-Fi domes like you see in space based cartoons.
