My name Kristi Nelson, and I'm with NBC 5 News here in DFW. Im working on a series of stories about race relations in 2012. This was planned before all of the recent race discussions prompted by the Trayvon Martin case, although perhaps that makes the topic more timely.
Im writing because we need input from people who identify themselves as Conservative. What we're asking people is how they feel race relations have improved or declined here in North Texas, or if they believe racial equality has been achieved.
Do you think you might know a few people in North Texas who would be willing to comment? We just need a diversity of people of all races and political views -- in an attempt to make it as representative as possible. We need these contacts as soon as possible, in fact Id like to interview some people on Thursday.
We're also hoping to do some kind of story exploring racial attitudes of white North Texans. But we haven't found anyone willing to discuss such topics on camera.
At any rate I'd appreciate any suggestions you might have, or let me know if you'd like to be included yourself. I can reached at kristi.nelson@nbcuni.com
I'm too busy with work to take Kristi up on her offer, but thought I'd throw it out there for any North Texas Freepers who might want to contribute the Freeper viewpoint to this news segment.
best, Windy
Yes it's NBC's patented "cherry bomb" reporting.
If at first it don't seethe do anything ethical or not to make it seethe.
Why doesn’t NBC just “make up” the responses to fit their story line. It has worked several times for them in the past. They don’t need us.
Zonation on Treyvon. It’s a riot.

Love me some Zo. Thanks for the link.
“Do you think you might know a few people in North Texas who would be willing to comment?”
Said the spider to the fly.
“It’s a trap.”
Hi Kristi,
Saw your Email on Race Relations and am going to assume that you are really asking the question instead of an agenda to paint folks as racist (which is a common theme in the media these days).
>Im writing because we need input from people who identify themselves as Conservative. What we're asking people is how they feel race relations have improved or declined here in North Texas, or if they believe racial equality has been achieved.
As a conservative I believe that race relations always needs improving and that the media is making race relations far worse by not being impartial and objective especially in the Trayvon case. The more I discover the facts of the case, as reported on the internet by the police, the more I distrust and loath the media even more than before.
Here in Dallas, anything said by a conservative is skewed by the media to imply racism. So I will only say race relations need improving just like everywhere and not fall into the journalistic trap of "Feelings". Currently the media have made race relations extremly tense because of the despicable journalism (if I will call it that) in the Trayvon case.
As for "racial equality", I will ask you what is your measurement of this and ask who determines it? What race or races would you proposed to judge this standard?
When I saw your email, I recognized it immediately as a Trap. So I decided to email you and give you some rope to discuss the matter.
After all, we here in North Texas freely give to anyone who asks.
Bump!
Black people and Democrats don’t want racism to go away...do you think Rosie O’Donnell wants Twinkies to go away?

Yes, and use the trap of "Racial Equality" to find some to tar and feather "conservatives". We know the buzz words.
Again, who is the arbiter of "Racial Equality"? Who determines when it exists. You did not answer the question. It is germane to this discussion since you brought it up.
As a Conservative I believe in "Liberty and Justice for All". That the United States Constitution, Bill of Rights and Representative System of Government gives the best possibility of Liberty and Justice in the known world.
That the Constitution, Bill of Rights and Representative System is to be color blind, applying equally to all. That Justice is to be blind to color, creed, or status.
Currently the Media is persueing Socialism and the destruction of our American values. Journalists are persueng classes and colors over one another and fanning the flames for their own purposes and using the Trayvon case to do so.
Can race relations get better under such journalism (or can race relations themselves)??
Al Sharpton has called for an "new level" in racial protests. Do you not think we do not know what this coded message means?? Beatings are occurring in the name of Travyon. Do you think we do not know what this means??
Do you "feel" that I feel more safe or less safe when such things are going on?? Do you "feel" I am encouraged to do more business or less with such things going on. Do you "feel" I might be afraid for my family, for my nation??
Do you "feel" I might be More Incline or Less Inclined to buy your product or listen to your Advertisers??
"Racial Equality" is discussed while families are dying without jobs. When Illegal Aliens get food stamps, Earned Income Credits and more freebies than any citizen ever does. When my kids can't get jobs after graduating from college with honors (let alone summer jobs)?
Is the Media so Clueless?
I love Zoe. He does much better than me when describing the ignorance of afro-centrics - the authors of leftist diversity hate/tribal doctrines.
Too bad we can not clone him and spread him throughout the fruity plain.
I'm sure he's making converts. The man is brilliant, in his own inimitable way, and makes more points in a couple of minutes than most commentators do in half an hour.
